Q: Why are custom plushies so expensive?
A: Custom plushies are priced by the time and skill it takes to create one. There are materials and utility costs as well as the labour and skill level of the artist.
Q: Why should I buy a sewing pattern instead of drafting my own?
A: Buying a sewing pattern instead of drafting it yourself can save a lot of time and money. It takes a certain amount of skill to draft a pattern and it usually needs to be tested a few times. Plus the cost of materials from said testing can add up.
Q: Can I sell my work using your sewing patterns?
A: Yes! You can sell anything you make yourself using my patterns. Please credit when posting to social media, and don't share or send them for factory mass production.
Q: How will I get my pattern purchase?
A: All sewing and embroidery files are in either PDF or ZIP format and delivered to your e-mail address instantly! It should be from "Dollphinwing" with subject "Your downloads are ready" and may also go into your spam or junk folder so be sure to check there. If you think you may have made a typo in your email address, please let me know where to send your files by e-mailing email@example.com
Due to the patterns being digital, refunds are not available.
Q: Do you update your patterns?
A: Sometimes patterns get updates. Once you purchase a pattern, all future updates are free and delivered automatically to your e-mail address.
Q: When will you have this plush available again?
A: I often restock popular plush. Follow my social media or join my mailing list to get updates on restocks and new plushies and patterns!
Q: Do you do commissions?
A: I don't take commissions or custom plush orders.

For the most part, I really like the pattern. It turned out fantastic for the most, just a few mess ups that come with making a pattern for the first time. The main issue I had was the instructions being a bit unclear in some places with the photos not being the most helpful in the world. It was unclear in a few instances what parts I was supposed to sew together, so maybe make that more definitive.
There was one thing that drove me mad, however, and maybe it was just me being a moron; the tail. The freaking tail. I had no idea I was supposed to tape the two parts labeled tail together, and, unless I truly missed it, I did not see it written any where in the instructions that the two parts of the tail were meant to be taped together before cutting my fabric, so I sat there for a solid half hour losing my mind about what to do with this random piece (Tail #2) and how it fit in the pattern. I eventually realized when I sewed the other part of the tail together and saw how short it was in comparison to the one in the pictures.
Long story short, it's a fantastic pattern for pokemon lovers with decently developed sewing skills, but the instruction manual most certainly needs some work, to be more descriptive and more guiding images. Even trying to look over the videos on Youtube didn't help with my struggle in some areas. I wouldn't have cared about the less concise instructions if I hadn't paid for the pattern. The pattern is a 5 star, but the instructions as a 3 star.
Edit: Finally got around to reassessing my review and I have felt horrible about taking so long. Thank you to the creator for taking my criticisms into account and releasing an updated version of the pattern and instructions. I was extremely happy when I saw the changes and found the newly added references and more concise instructions helpful. I've changed my review to 5 stars.
This was not an easy pattern to make, and required some hand basting before machine sewing, but you can’t argue with the results. Mew turned out wonderfully. The shape of the face and body are done very well, and are accurate to the character. The starry eye embroidery really enhances the plush, too.
Highly recommended, and well worth the effort.
I ended up buying this pattern so I could make a Mew toy for my Pokemon obsessed nephew. The pattern is absolutely adorable and looks professional. My only issue was there was no arm holes placed, but I got that remedied quickly.
Also extremely happy that a template was included for the eyes. It made it quick and easy!
It turned out so well that someone I know decided that they're going to make one too.
Very easy to make and the results are lovely
