Q: Why are custom plushies so expensive?
A: Custom plushies are priced high because of the time and skill it takes to create one. First there is material cost, there is also utility costs and equipment upkeep. But those costs are generally a small portion of the price. The rest is made up from the time it takes an artist to make the plush, and the cost the artist charges per hour reflects the level of skill they possess. Therefore a smaller plush won't always cost less as it may take even longer for the artist to make at such at a small scale.
Q: Why should I buy a sewing pattern instead of drafting my own?
A: Buying a sewing pattern instead of drafting it yourself can save a lot of time and money. It takes a certain amount of skill to draft a pattern and it usually needs to be tested a few times. Plus the cost of materials from said testing can add up.
Q: Do you do commissions?
A: I very rarely do commissions, only opening up once or twice a year. To be informed of opening times, follow me on social media or join my mailing list!
Q: Can I sell my work using your sewing patterns?
A: Yes! You can sell anything you make using my patterns with your own 2 hands. Please credit when posting to social media, and don't use them for mass production.
Q: When will you have this plush available again?
A: I often restock popular plush. Follow my social media or join my mailing list to see when the next shopfill is!
Q: How much does a plush or commission cost?
A: Pricing varies widely between plush based on level of detail and size. On average, the price of a plush will start at $100 and can go up from there. In my store I sell some smaller and simpler plushies for a more affordable cost!
Q: Will you come to __ convention?
A: I can only do so many cons a year and most of them are in the tri-state area. I always announce the events I'll be selling at on my social media and mailing list!
